1928 American LaFrance Pumper
This 1928 American LaFrance Pumper was used in the early days of the Hereford Fire Department. Hereford Fire Department has a working, fully restored, duplicate of the truck shown in this photo. It is owned and maintained by the members of the Hereford Fire Department.
1948 American LaFrance Pumper- "Engine 48"
Engine 48 is a 1948 American LaFrance Pumper. It is owned and maintained by the members of the Hereford Fire Department. The above photo shows the truck being used to practice our pumper teams for compitition at the Panhandle Fireman's Association annual meeting. Engine 48 is in great, running shape and is often used in parades and other fire department functions.
Engine 1
Engine 1 has been on of the most recent additions to the Hereford Fire Department. Engine 1 is a Farrara Pumper and was purchaced by the City of Hereford in 2006 and placed in service.
