Hereford Fire Department is a volunteer department that proudly serves the citizens of Hereford Texas and Deaf Smith County. It was established in 1908 and has become one of the most respected and well equipped volunteer fire departments in the state of Texas. With membership of over 30 volunteers, Hereford Fire Department serves over 1500 square miles with wreck rescue, fire suppression, and protection for a variety of other emegencies.
